Biography

Homeless and broke in 1990, Richard lived in constant fear, turmoil and hopelessness. He slept on beaches and in boiler rooms. Each day was a struggle for survival, not only for food and shelter, but for emotional well-being and personal dignity. By 1998, Richard had completely turned his life around and was hired by a New York-based international financial firm to create a technology education department from scratch. Once penniless, he was now earning a six-figure income.

Richard was a finalist for the Gold Congressional Award for Community Service for 1200+ hours of service with teen runaways, prisoners and homeless people. He served with eight political campaigns, to include State Senate, Mayor, District Attorney, U.S. Senate, U.S. President. Richard volunteered for eight years as a trainer with the Dale Carnegie corporate training programs. Later, he became certified as an instructor for the intensive Dale Carnegie corporate sales course.

Richard served on the White House Advance Team: Administrative assistant for Secret Service with five Presidential Visitations. He created and launched the Lord Abbett Public Speaking Club, and Philadelphia Panorama Toastmasters Club. He also successfully ran two 26-mile marathon races

Richard served in U.S. Marine Corps Reserve: Hawaii-based Force Reconnaissance Parascuba Unit, and Philadelphia’s Field Artillery Unit. He received training for the Abrams M1A1 Main Battle Tank, and the 105 mm towed Howitzer artillery cannon.

Richard is a passionate skydiver, and has logged more than 185+ exciting skydives from 13,500 feet. He has skydived from helicopters, hot air balloons, and a variety of aircraft. He has also skydived at night, flew on a sky surfboard, and was part of an 8-way CRW parachute stacking team while in mid-flight at 8,000 feet.
